Kappa Sigma is founded on the principles of fellowship, leadership, scholarship, and service. Our fraternity prides itself on fostering a supportive brotherhood that emphasizes academic excellence, community involvement, and the development of leadership & internpersonal skills.
The Epsilon-Upsilon chapter was chartered on October 11th, 1952, at the University of North Texas. After many years of being on campus, our chapter re-chartered in 2019, and we have seen years of success with many more years ahead!
Kappa Sigma is committed to making a difference in the lives of others. This commitment has provided the inspiration and vision for 'A Greater Cause' – the fraternity’s bold initiative to promote volunteerism, citizenship, and service to the community.
Dear Epsilon-Upsilon Alumni and Parents,
My name is Dylan Finneran, and I am honored to serve as the newly elected Grand Master of the Epsilon-Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Sigma. It is with great pride and excitement that I share our chapter’s vision and continued commitment to the values that define our brotherhood.
Kappa Sigma is more than just a fraternity—it is a lifelong bond built on the principles of leadership, fellowship, scholarship, and service. These values guide everything we do, from our academic efforts to our community engagement, and they continue to shape the men we are becoming.
As Grand Master, I am focused on fostering a strong, inclusive, and supportive environment where each brother can grow and succeed. Whether it’s through campus leadership, academic excellence, or giving back through service and philanthropy, our chapter remains dedicated to building well-rounded men of character.
We continue to prioritize academics by offering structured support systems such as study hours, mentorship, and access to scholarships. At the same time, we maintain a vibrant social calendar filled with meaningful events—from intramural sports to fundraising initiatives—designed to create lasting memories and strengthen the bonds between our brothers.
To our alumni and parents: thank you for your continued support. Your involvement and encouragement are vital to our chapter’s success. I look forward to building on the legacy of those who came before me and leading this brotherhood into a strong and successful future.
Dylan Finneran
Grand Master, Kappa Sigma Fraternity Epsilon-Upsilon
